How do I tell if my mobo and cpu will be compatible before I buy it?

i5 4750 haswell LGA 1150 and the mobo is Gigabyte G8-H81.AMP up LGA 1150?

Will these work together? Is that a good mobo?

Just go to the Manufactrurers website and look for the supported CPU list.

It even refers to a specific BIOS Version.
