Hello
I have an Abit KT7 RAID motherboard (Test System) in my sig.
It has both IDE and IDE RAID onboard
The IDE controller was producing disk and acpi errors (in Event Viewer) once I
had installed when in Windows (both XP and 2000).
The hard drives are fine as I tested them with a different motherboard.
I tried to test the RAID IDE controller to see if that helped, but it did not and I
continue to receive errors. I have also tried different drivers but that was not help.
Can anyone think of something else to try, because I am out of ideas.
I really do not want to purchase a new motherboard, because of the old hardware
attached to it RAM and CPU. This computer is ideal to test software and Windows
Updates.
My only option as I see it is to buy a PCI IDE card.
