Motherboard pre-order from ShopBLT

I am sorely tempted to pre-order an Asus C6H from ShopBLT. Even though it's ~$40 above MSRP, it's the only American firm I can find currently offering a pre-order on anything having to do with AM4/Ryzen.

Getting a receipt for the pre-order would let me get an NH-D15S and request a proper mounting bracket, saving me ~$20 over the NH-D15 AM4-SE.

So has anyone tried a mobo pre-order from ShopBLT before? Or any pre-order from them for that matter? How's their service?

... $40 above MSRP ... saving me $20 ...

That still means overpaying $20 and buying a motherboard that might end up being second-rate. You might be better off waiting until both RyZen and the motherboards are shipping.

The C6H won't be second-rate unless ShopBLT sends along a dud.

Mostly it's just me champing at the bit to get my orders placed so I don't have to face the rush on Feb. 28th. Saving $20 on the HSF is just a minor plus, even if I am overpaying for the board. Of course I may overpay for the board on Day 1 too which is part of what ShopBLT is banking on with their pre-order price.

Okay, looks like ShopBLT's prices on he c6H may be in line with what everyone else will charge. Their shipping costs are a bit bad though. Hmm, details details . . .

Aaaand ShopBLT is pulling the item from their site. Either the pre-order was a mistake, or they only accepted a limited quantity of such orders. Makes me glad I didn't place an order with them yet. Too bad for anyone that did, unless it all works out in the end.
