Motherboard power switch question

I did this crazy mod where i put three power supplies on toggles switches, which also go to a master switch which turn all of them on.
If I just turn on my switch, everything turns on, but i dont get a display until i hold the normal case switch in for a few seconds. If I put the case swich on my main switch too, will it work? Or is it a contact switch, like it only touches for a second then releases where mine is a toggle that stays connected until i turn it off.

Anyone with any knowledge would be greatly appreciated.

thanks
david

reword that a bit...i didnt quite "get" it, the one thing i can tell you is that power switches for mobo's are momentary switches, they only complete the circuit while you're pressing them. like i said, reword that a bit and i can probably answer the rest, and/or someone else can 🙂

edit: are these AT or ATX psu's??

these are ATX psu's.

as for rewording... i don't know how else to put it. All i want to do is hit one switch and turn the whole contraption on. Now i have to hit my master toggle then the standard mobo switch.

make any more sense?

thanks for your help
