motherboard phenom 9950 BE?

As I can get a phenom 9950 really cheap right now, I need to find a good mobo, I was looking at the MSI k9a2 platinum AM2+ 790fx. Does anyone know anything about this board? Is this probably fairly solid or is there a better choice?

I read some reviews on that or a similar model from MSI and it said the cooler on the motherboard might get in the way sometimes with the CPU cooler. Just look at the pictures, it's pretty weird. I think it's a very tempting board though because of the heatpipes. I don't know much more than that but just wanted to point out I read that somewhere.

I wouldn't get that if I were you. Mainly because it has the SB600 southbridge and it doesn't overclock as well as the 790GX/SB750s can do, so I would recommend looking at the newer ones. P.S. SB600 wasn't exactly the most successful one to use with Vista and a couple of hard drives.
