and I bought this motherboard in 2012

I also bought this processor in 2012

The problem I noticed now.. yes lol a year later I noticed my ram.. would not go faster than 668 In the screenshot you will only see 8gb, thats because I've been experiementing seeing if its something else..

but I think its a compatibility issue and I just don't know enough about computer components to put the pieces together. I'd love some advice or workarounds. I'm considering buying more ram and just selling these on ebay or something.

I'd apreciate any help thanks.

According to your screenshot, it's only running in single-channel. Which RAM slots do you have the RAM in?

consult the manual. check plugging order. You may have to manually adjust settings in the BIOS menu's to achieve the desired Mhz. Match timings, voltages, and Mhz to what the RAM is rated for, and only after checking the motherboard manual.

According to your manual, p. 2-6,
Quote: We recommend that you install the memory modules from the blue slots for better overclocking capability.

Seems strange, but that's what it says.
