I started having the issue that i need to discharge my PSU/PC multiple times before i am able to turn the PC it on.
Eg...power button off, keep button on PC pressed, power button on, PC button pressed (repeat)...until it finally starts to turn on and boot.
(I have a USB illuminated keyboard and also note that before i can turn on the PC the keyboard light up for a fraction of a second).
When the issue started a few weeks ago i first (mistakenly) thought its the board CMOS battery battery, so i replaced it, but didn't make a difference).
Am i right to assume this is rather a mobo issue than a PSU issue?
Edit: Board is an older X48 Asus board which i got used after my first one from dfi blew one day. PSU is a 750W TT toughpower.
We in Spain have a rather unstable power grid with spikes, outages etc. quite often...(one reason the first board blew i guess)...so this could be one reason.
