I'm working on a setup for a potential customer of mine. He wants a SCSI system, with 4nics, RAID1 all in a 2u case for 2-3 thousand.
My solution is to use a dual integrated LAN board with integrated video, and then add 2 additional nic cards and a SCSI card.
However, I'm still trying to figure out the RAID 1 issue. All of my slots are used up and I want to know what I should do for this. He will be using Windows 2000 Server. Is a software solution an option for RAID 1 and if so, what is the program?
Should I choose another board? I've seen some 64bit boards, but wasn't for sure if a standard 32bit cards would fit into the 64bit slots.
Help would be appreciated.
