Motherboard mounting screws, adapters

Hi-

My CoolerMaster case only came with 4 mounting screw adatpers (the things that screw into the case that the mounting screws screw into), and I need 6 to mount my P4P800. I've searched all over newegg and CoolerMaster.com and can't find where to buy them, can anyone help?

are you sure they didnt include more of various shapes and sizes? what you are looking for are "standoffs" or "spacers"


here is a type that gets screwed onto the case, usually universal
here is a type that gets inserted into the case (it slips into some slots, NOT UNIVERSAL)
here are some nylon ones.

Yeah, I have everything that came with the case. I have some old brass type spacers from an old case, but the mail ends are just a bit too thick to thread in properly. The ones for the CoolerMaster are metallic, maybe stainless, and seem thicker on the female end - these screws are too big for the brass colored spacers.

Call coolermaster... they might send them out for free if they weren't included... you should be given a small surplus with the case.

When I had the same problem, I just stopped by a local computer store (not a franchise) and asked nicely, and they gave me all the standoffs I needed!

Edit: Bring one of your standoffs though, so you can make sure you get what you need, if your local geeks are as generous as mine are.
