Motherboard mounting question

I'll be using brass standoffs to mount my new mobo. Should I use washers at all when screwing the mobo into the brass standoffs? I have a lot of those red colored paper-like washers and was wondering if they are needed? Also, should the brass standoffs be used on all the holes, or just some of them?

i think the paper washers are supposed to absorb some tension if the screws are tightened too much. keeps the mobo from cracking. (i think)

LoL LoL again. Keep it coming.
Anyways you don't need those red washers UNLESS you are pretty certain that the screw heads will overlap onto the circuitry. Normally I use 4 brass standoffs at th e4 ends and th eplastic ones in between for firmness. End of story.

The washers were included to prevent from accidental grounding the case and the MB. but now most of the MB manufacture design their product fairly well, so in most cases washers are not needed.

As for the brass standoffs, it depends on the case. most new cases you can use them on all holes, but some of them there's no screw holes for it, you'll need to use the plastic supports instead.
