motherboard monitor settings

Morning folks,

I just uilt a new PC for one of our DBA's to use at home ( Biostar m7ncd pro , AMD Barton 2800, Dual Channel Geil Pc 3200 DDR and Geforce 4 ti4200 ) and I was thinking of using motherboard monitor on it so that he doesnt have to worry about overheating or anything. I have never used mbm before now but have heard a lot about it. is it relatively easy to set up??? are there any preset thresholds or do I have to come up with some of my own???

Yes it is relatively easy to set up and you can set your own threshold values. As for your setup....GeIL is not exactly the best company to choose from when looking at RAM and nForce2...Good luck running it at SPD.

what exactly is spd??? i have it set to auto right now and it seems to be working fine

Unless it means something different on a nForce2 mobo...
