I just built a new system: Athlon XP and Epox 8KHA+ mobo. I have a Thermalright SK-6 cooling my CPU with Artic Silver and a total of 4 fans in my system (2 front, 2 back). I really have no way of knowing how good my readings are. My MBM 5 readings are as follows:

Sensor 1: 39 C
Sensor 2: 26 C
CPU 1106 Mhz (Athlon 1700+ XP)
Fan 1: 6887 RPM
Fan 2: 2616 RPM
Core 0: 1.79V
Core1: 0.05 V
+3.3: 3.33 V
+5: 5.05 V
+ 12.00 : 12.28 V
-12.00: 2.28 V
-5.00 0.74 V

The computer has about 4 IE windows open and an active morpheus download. CPU load is about 3-5%. Mem usage is about 136 MB. I have no idea what the other things refer to in my dashboard. Does anyone have a translation?

I am going to install Quake 3 and run loops in the background and check my temps again.

Do these temps/readings seem okay to everyone?

Okay...sensor 1 is most likely the reading for your processor. Sensor 2 is either for the system temp or the ambient case temperature. I'm slightly concerned about the speed of the processor...isn't a 1700+ XP FASTER than the 1106 MHz? Correct me if I'm wrong here, but it seems like you're UNDERCLOCKING...although temperatures are a bit low, for a SK-6 it isn't that bad. If you want better temps you might try reinstalling the HSF and reapplying ASII (also, remember that arctic silver takes a few days to completely take effect) or settling for a better HSF solution. However, your temperatures seem fine. Your voltages are also very stable.

Speed should be higher on the cpu I bet you didn't change the jumper on the motherboard like you should have it is set at 100 from the factory and it needs to be changed to 133. Standard for a 1700+ is 1.46 and I am running my 1700+ at 1.530.

yeah, change ur fsb to 133, , , it seems like it's at 100 right now...

according to what madcowdisease said (which i agree with), your temperature seems to be pretty nice. Check your temperature after full load. Also check the idle temperature in the BIOS to make sure it complies to MBM.
