Weird, really weird. I've been using Motherboard Monitor for over five years on AMD and Intel-based systems, OEM and homebuilts. Today in one of my systems, I replaced one of the hard drives with a newer, larger capacity drive. The drive works perfectly, as well as all my software.
Here's the problem, when I right click on the temperature displays in the tray and select "Display", instead of displaying the MBM's monitor it crashes the system. I have completely uninstalled and re-installed MBM 5 (latest version) three times, to no effect. The system doesn't crash with Speedfan or Hmonitor. What gives here?
System in question:
Abit IC7
Intel P4C (N) 2.8 @ 3.5
2 X 512 Kingston HyperX
HDD 0 Maxtor 7200/8MB 80GB (Operating System)
HDD 1 Hitachi DeskStar 7200/8MB 160GB (Programs & Data)
Not a show stopper here; I just really like to know what is causing this. I also would prefer running MBM 5 rather than Speedfan or Hmonitor.
