Motherboard Monitor & Asus A7V133 - No temps?!

Hello,

Just got my new machine set up and installed Motherboard Monitor in hopes of finding out what the CPU/case temps are really like (the BIOS tells me but I want to know right after/during heavy load).

The strange thing is the program reports no temperatures. It just says zero. It is reading the RPMs of the two fans I have connected to the mainboard fine as well which is confusing me.

Anyone had this problem or know if I am doing something wrong?

BTW I don't get that reboot bug it mentions some have with the VIA Southbridge on KT133A's.

You need to specify which temps by opening the settings menu. Mine said 255C until I did that. I had it for a few minutes. Once specified, MM5 gave me exactly the same temps as AsusProbe 2.12.09 (probably because both utilities use the AF99127F chip) but after a while, it made my voltages spike on occasion, so I uninstalled it and rely on AsusProbe right now for my A7V133 rev.1.05.

Colour me stupid but where can I find this Asusprobe software? I'll check their website and the CDs that came with the mainboard I guess (duh).

Just found 2.12.07 on their website. Is there anything improved in .09?

Thanks.

Ugh I'm dumb, I just changed the settings in MBM to sensor 1 = Asus 1 etc. and it's working fine. I'll install AsusProbe in a bit and see how it works. Thanks for the tips :)
