I recently downloaded both of these programs after a crash from GuildWars(I later turned down the graphic settings which seemed to help). These programs show the same temperatures, and for some reason(the one that makes me suspicious) it shows my Cpu Int temp to go from 25 to 55 to 64 to 27 in a matter of seconds,(These are Celsius mind you) while my CPU Ext temp seems to stay around 43, and my Case temp 29. At this point I think I am going to both:
a) uninstall these programs
b) apply more thermal grease to my old athlon 2500 Barton(its been longer than a year or two).
Just thought I would post, because these temperature changes seem strange; to have a few programs up and my cpu be 65 C. Oh, now its 20 C... ugh oh well
Feel free to comment on the (un)reliability of MBM and SF or any other examples of strange temperature behavior.
