Motherboard Monitor and CoolMon--A Problem

Hi there,

I am using Motherboard Monitor and the integration with it and CoolMon to display system info on the dekstop. I have the latest versions of both programs, but when I boot, CoolMon says it could not find dll/mbmio.dll, which is really there in the 'Motherboard Monitor 5' folder. But, after I click OK on boot, it monitors the temps fine, just like the dll was loaded right after that point. But, the only way I can have the temps work in CoolMon is for me to run MBM5 as well at the same time, which it says you do not have to do.

Any suggestions? I'd like to get this working! 😀

To get it to work for me, I had to create a directory within the Coolmon directory. Call this subdirectory "dll" and copy "MbmIO.dll" into it.

Also, I tried installing Coolmon directly into the directory where MBM was installed... this did not work.

You need to delay coolmon until mbm is running. There may or may not be a way to do this. Cpuidle does this.
