my buddy and i are into doing audio and video editing. Short story is that we just finished an upgrade but the pci express x1 video card just cant handle the resolution we need.

The following cards need to go:
PCI express x8 (raid ARC-1220 )
PCI Audio card
PCI Audio card
PCI Audio card
PCI TV Tuner card
and a video card that supports dual link dvi @ 2560x1600

I cant find any SLI boards that also have 4 PCI slots. Are there any options?

That smells like a server board almost. What processer do you have and what are you willing to spend on said new board?

If you must have SLI, then I think the best solution would be to buy one with less than 4 PCI slots, and add a controller card to give you the connectivity that you need.

Maybe i should have put more into my original post.

Already tried the HIS Radeon X1300 pci express x1 card and it just doesnt do the job. Figured the only way we can get a card to support the resolution (30" dell) is to get something that is PCI ex x16. So i dont need SLI for video, i just need one slot for video and one for the raid card.

Controller card? Got an example ?

Forget what I said, I'm doing a couple of things at the same time, and didn't really think before speaking. The controllers wouldn't help with connecting anything that's designed for a PCI slot. However, I'm curious, why do you need 3 audio cards?

At those prices, you really must love your audio. why does anyone need those...just to distribute the sound to multiple speaker systems?
