hi

I have a problem and I have no ideas what's wrong, I think my motherboard is dead.

It is not the power supply because I could jump that and get it to work fine. I have disconnected and reconnected all cables, too.

Right now both power cables are in, and the cables to the button of the board.

When the power supply switch is on, the motherboard led inside is green - howevern when i press the button for to turn on the system nothing happens. i tried using a screw driver to turn it on to, to no avail.

im not sure if the board is dead because the led inside is on....

You may have a mis-seated or dead PCI or video card. Try reseating your vid card and unplugging any other PCI cards.
