My configuration is P4 3.0 MHz, 512 MB corsair ram, ati aiw radeon 9800 pro. My power source is a raidmax 450 watts. I have a P4C800 E Deluxe motherboard. My problem is that when i try to install another stick of the same RAM in, although the computer load, my screen is blank. When working wit either of the stick of ram individual, it loads fine, but I have problem when both sticks are in. Can you please tell me the problem?

You might start by trying the settings I outlined in this thread for the memory timings and memory voltage.

i would use your guide, but in order for me to be able to do that, i would actually have to go to BIOS to do that. but in my case, you see, nothin appear on my screen, no bios, no nothing. the comp IS running, but nothing appear on my screen. When i put either one of them in individual, the comp runs and setup appear on my screen and everything runs normally, but when i put the two sticks in together, it appears my computer is turned on, but my screen is blank, it's like it's not receiving any signal from my cpu

Try this:
  • Install one module
  • Change the settings in the BIOS like I described
  • Save the settings and restart, and allow the computer to boot Windows normally, then do a complete Shut Down
  • Now add the second module and see if it's working
Also, you should be using the modules in slots 1 & 3, or slots 2 & 4, if you want dual-channel operation.

Do you have any other video card you could try? I'm wondering if you're overstressing your off-brand power supply there. If you have the money and want to try something, get yourself an Enermax 465-series or Antec TruePower 430.

Figuring RAM doesn't need that much volts, I turned off 3 fans to make sure it's supply enough electric. Still wouldn't start up. I dont believe my graphic card is the problem. Boy, is this irritating..
