My indecision regards two motherboards: 😕
1st: ASUS M2N32-SLI DELUXE/WIFI-AP nForce 590 SLI SKAM2
- This is a tried and true mobo that has had formidable reviews since late 2006 and throughout 2007, furthermore, it has (according to the ASUS website) support for the new AM2+ CPU (http://event.asus.com/mb/am2_plus/), its feature rich but nevertheless it is 1½yrs old.
2nd: GIGABYTE GA-MA790X-DS4 AM2+
- This quite recent board is something of a blur, i have found no reviews except for the ones in newegg.com and overclockers.uk, it does sport the new AMD chipset 790X and its a native AM2+ board.
Note 1: I can acquire the ASUS for 145$ and the GIGABYTE for 111$, the difference in value means that if i gor for the latter i still have margin to acquire a CPU cooler (was thinking of the also new ASUS Triton 77 for 32$).
Note 2: This board will be host to a AMD X2 5000+ Black Edition CPU and an ASUS 8800GT 512mb VGA (something that weighs considerably should i decide to go the SLi route which the ASUS does support and the GIGABYTE does not since its XFire)
This will all go into a NOX Coolbay 25 ATX with a NOX Urano 500w PSU, i just havent decided on the RAM but if in doubt i'll report here for enlightenment.
Any help and clairvoyance on this matter is much appreciated
