Motherboard ID?

I know this is stupid but I can't locate the brand of my motherboard. All I have is this from the invoice of my machine:
WIN 440BX, ATX/AGP, Single Motherboard

Looking inside I can't seem to locate a name other than
WINBOND on a chip and Intell PCIset on a chip.

I am wanting to upgrade from a PII 350 to a PIII 700-750.
I just can't find out if my motherboard will support it. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

when you first boot, (after the POST) hold down the pause key, and write down the code at the bottom of the screen. Award and AMI BIOS have a set of numbers set up so you can Identify Chipset, Manufacturer, and sometimes Model. The Frist 5 are the Chipset Numbers, then most importantly, in your case, the next 2 (6th, and 7th) are the Manufacturer's ID #. and usually the 8th number is the Model.

Something like this-
(borrowed from Wim's Bios Page)
51-0102-zz5123-00111111-101094-AMIS123-P

Then from there check out Wim's Bios Page
there is a complete list of just about every manufacturer that ever was.
and believe me, i've found some pretty obscure manufacturers of mainboards. (we get a lot of old ones at our shop)

then again, you never know what could happen!! (Just Kidding)
Also check out Windrivers' Bios Center
for a whole hell of a lot more info!
Good Luck
