motherboard help...

I'm currently building a new comp, cause this computer I'm usng now is like falling apart.

I've got a 2.4P4 w/ HT, 512 RAM, and a case all lined up and ready to order, but now all I need is a motherboard to go with it.

I have no idea which mobo is the right one, and I need to find a cheap one, quickly...

thanks

Overclocking? Abit IS-7 or slightly cheaper IS-7 E are favorites for OC'ers and many non-OC budget shoppers.

The Asus P4P800 Deluxe is the #2 choice but it's not clearly "better" just more expensive.

ASUS P4P800 is prolly a good mobo but i would suggest Abit IC7, the only difference between IC7 and -G is you dont get CSA Gigabit LAN, no SATA RAID and a few less USB2.0 and firewireports but you get a superior OC board. It costs about the same as the ASUS
