I am looking on assembling a new PC and was wondering what mobo u guys think I should go with... Haven't heard much about Via KT600 chipset is it any good? As well whats the best NForce2 SPP mobo as well as the NForce2 Ultra 400 one.

Preferably would like to spend under $120

BTW I probably won't be doing much overclocking

You want a fast board for your Athlon? Get an nForce2. Which one is the best? If I were to get an AMD rig now, I would get the Epox 8RDA+. I have had very good luck with speed, stability, and overclocking with past Epox boards, and I have heard nothing but good things about the 8RDA+.
 
It's missing the mcp-t. So if you want an Asus, get A7N8X Deluxe.

The motherboard forum has some very useful threads on different motherboards. AMD MB Forums and NForcersHQ also has alot of useful info.

Edit: Be sure to get one that supports 400mhz fsb, just mentioning it as I am not sure they all do.
 
The A7N8X-X is also a single-channel board, not that it won't still perform fine. There have been a lot of good comments on the Abit nForce2's, so you might look into that as well.
