Hi guys well ill tell you the long story i ordered a h8dce from monarch computer systems about 3 weeks ago i installed it and it had random start up problems like the system would hang on bios screen but it was interminnent, keyboard was inop sometimes and so on so after speaking with tech support they rma the board i just got a new one back yesterday after almost two weeks and now i have a new problem This is a dual cpu board socket 940 so it takes registered memory the way the board is set up like most amd dual cpu boards.I am running patriot PDC1G3200ERLLK 512x4 two for each cpu.Now my problem is when installing memory in the cpu1 side of the board in the 1a and 1b slots it will not post, you take a stick out of the 1a slot and it will post same thing with 2a 2b it does the same thing,
But with cpu2 side of the board it will run in 1a and 1b or 2a or 2b with no problem it almost seems like 1a and 2a does not work on the cpu1 side of the board.I have tried everything any help Please if i have to rma another board and wait another two weeks ill be bummin thats if they will take this board back im sick of this i thought supermicro was a good board im beginning not to think so do you guys think it could be a memory problem but why woul it work ok on the cpu2 ? side
