Motherboard Help Needed!

Hello everyone. I just recently purchased a Shuttle MN31/N micro ATX nForce2 IGP motherboard. My problem with the board is that after I install the audio drivers, the motherboard emits a high pitched squeel that is incredibly annoying. The only things that stop this noise are when I play a game, such as Rainbow Six 3: Raven Shield or The Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind. Another action that stops the noise is scrolling up and down a web page furiously with wheelmouse, or while I am burning CDs. When I go into nForce audio options and switch digital and analog output on and off, the noise changes also, supporting that something related to the audio is squeeling, even with everything disconnected from the computer. The odd thing is that you can also hear the same noise through the headphone jack. Could someone please help me as it's driving me crazy? I've already contacted Shuttle about this, but haven't heard back from them yet. Thank you for any replies.

you sure it's comming from your motherboard or your speakers?

i had this with my abit nf7-s..
and the problem was that my soundstorm was sharing IRQ with my USB.. which my mouse was hooked up to my USB... so whenever i do anything with my mouse.. i get noise...

sounds like your soundstorm is sharing IRQ with your IDE and your USB...

check to see if it is....

It does seem that I'm having tons of IRQ conflicts with my motherboard, like the NIC, Audio, and Video being on IRQ 11. Is there any way to fix this?
