Well it's time for me to upgrade my 3 year old laptop to a highend gaming machine. I have zeroed in on the Intel E6600 chip as my CPU but need the right motherboard to complement it. I have done some browsing but haven't found the right info to make my decision. I want the best performing motherboard for gaming but I am not interested in overclocking, I want a stable fast system options and money is not really a problem.
I will be using 2 x 150GB Raptors as my hard drives. My memory will be 4gb of Corsair XMS DDR2-800 (PC2-6400) C3-TWIN2X2048-6400C3. I plan on getting a mid-range gpu to hold me off until I invest in one of the new dx10 chips. Any recommendations?
