Hey guys. Im new here, and just needed some hints for a setup.
Whats the difference (if any) between nForce4 chipset and nForce 405 chipset. Or any in the 400's!
Basicly, Im trying to replace a broken motherboard, with another, and still use my old CPU (AMD 64bit), graphics card (Georce 7600 GT) and power supply etc. I orginally had a gigabyte ga-m55sli-s4, which uses nForce4 SLI chipset, and as I am unable to find one to buy, was maybe considering some other motherboards with similar capabilities. Just confused with the chipset thing and would be cool work that out, as wikipedia sucks for that.
I found a GA-M61SME-S2 that is nForce 405, but no mention of SLI etc.
