ok so I'm buildin a new gaming rig. I would like to put an E8400 when they come out next month but may go with an E6750 due to availability and inflation.

Now Tiger has an XFX LT for 100 bucks.. but I was gonna hold out for the 7xx chupset mb but their expensive as hell. Would yall recommend holding off or grabing the deal and then upgrading later.

I do wanna SLI some 8800GT's but that wont happen right away. Below is the link to the deal.

If the E8400 is the GPU you are planning on using, get the 680i LT. I had one and it was very good. It was very fast and very stable, you do not need the 780i and its about 300, also its very new so there may still be lots of problems that have not yet been fixed, even board updates, nobody wants to change out their board!

The 680iLT is a great deal and mature - you will be very happy with the 680iLT.

I may pick up a few myself seeing how cheep they are. Good luck.

I'm looking at the new Asus A5N-T deluxe 780i board myself vs the Asus P5E3 Deluxe. Haven't figured which one to get yet. I might want to get the new QX9650 CPU as well vs the Q6600 and do some OC'ing.
DUH, bring back the old days when things were simple, sort of.
