This is a really particular question, and I'm not really sure where it goes, but here I go. So, I splurged not too long ago and bought the ASUS P5B-Deluxe motherboard, but I didn't read the fine print, as all I have are IDE or eIDE drives, and all that's really available on the motherboard is SATA connections. I went onto Ebay and bought 4 IDE to SATA connectors, and tried to use those, but no luck. I don't have a single SATA drive, and my OS is running on a IDE drive on the only IDE socket that came on the board. Should I just scrap my idea of saving my old IDE drives (4 160 GB's) or what? I've been playing with updating drivers for the motherboard, the JMICRON drivers, the Intel Chipset, the BIOS, everything. I'm ready to accept defeat, but I'd like to give it one last chance. Suggestions?
