motherboard guide discrepancy

IN MEMORIAM
I was a little confused by one point. the article states: "It's unfortunate that K8T890 has dual core problems because some motherboards, like the ASUS A8V-E Deluxe [RTPE: A8V-E Deluxe] and the Abit AX8 [RTPE: Abit AX8], are very solid all around motherboards for the price." The ASUS site clearly states that the A8V-E Deluxe supports AMD's dual core. Whats up? Sorry if it's already been covered but, what are the problems? I'm looking at buying the A8V-E primarily because of it's firewire support but it would be nice if down the road I could swap the 3700+ for a dual core.

asus probably hasn't updated their site. its a recent revelation/admission that the 890 won't run x2s
