So I decided to 'adjust' 😱 a case fan yesterday while the computer was on. All I did was try to tighten a screw for the fan and all of a sudden......screen went berzerk and both chassis fans stopped working.

When I rebooted, everything was fine except the chassis fans won't work. Tested the fans in another machine and they're fine. So basically I shorted the MBs fan connectors, right? I haven't done any rigorous testing of the other components everything seems to be in order.

Anyone else had a similar experience? The board is new (P4P800) and will get RMA'd but what a pain in the arse.
