Motherboard for T2310

Hi all,

Anyone know if the Intel dual core T2310 cpu for laptop fit in a regular desktop motherboard? Thanks.

T2310 is Socket P (mPGA-478) so it would only work in motherboards designed for the relatively small segment/market known as Mobile on Desktop (M.O.D.).

There are a number of MOD boards now but in almost all cases they are quite a bit more expensive than 'conventional' desktop counterparts and usually smaller form factors such as Micro ATX, Flex ATX, or Mini-ITX. It will not work in desktop Socket 478 and LGA775 boards, unless someone makes some kind of adapter that I'm not aware of at present time.
