Motherboard for Q6600 and SLI 9600GT

Hello,

I`m just about to buy a new PC and would like to ask for some help regarding the MB. I`m planning to use the PC for 3D professional work such as rendering etc..although I would like to play every now and then. I realy really need rendering speed, that is why I`ve picked out the Quad Core Q6600 with a 2x GeForce 9600GT combination. What I need now is a MB which is around 200$ price range at MOST..would prefer 150$ (I cant afford a high end one..). I`d choose something from ASUS, but anything else is good too of course.
So if you guys could help me out, that would be awesome.

But really, depending on what programs you plan to run, you may be better off with a P35 motherboard and a single Quadro workstation card.

You would probably get better answers specifically on the GPU asking in the video cards forum.
 
i second the 750i board too. a 780i might be good, but im not sure if you can grab one for 200 or less.
