OK I am building my first system and I have narrowed down what I want. I will get a P4 2.4B MHz CPU with 512 MB of Samsung or Kingston or Corsair RAM (any input appreciated) and then I am not sure on the motherboard. I have narrowed it to the following:
Abit BG7E
Asus P4GE-V
Aopen AX4GE Max
Albatron PX845GE Pro2
I have read the forums here about the Asus and Albatron boards which people seem very happy with but was curous what people thought about the other boards. Curiously the Aopen is the only one with Firewire onboard. I will try some overclocking but will go very slow.
