Hey guys. I'm new to the forum and have been on reading up on things for days now. Have a question about the board I want to use for my new system upgrade. I'm getting ready to order:

Intel e8400
Thermalright 120 extreme
OCZ Reaper 4gb 800 ddr2
ATI 4850

Plan to try and overclock the 8400 to 4.0. I've been looking at the asus p5q's and can't really determine the better of the suite. Was thinking between the pro and the deluxe. Is there any benefit from having the extra cooling pipes on the deluxe vs. the pro for the extra amount of money? Also, any other suggestions would be great. Thanks in advance any other info needed I can answer.

Generally speaking, the cooler it runs the faster you can go... if you want to run at 4.0 for an extended period then you will need to set your FSB at 445; that's not outragous, but still pretty fast, it may pay-off in the long run to get the higher end board.

So you think the deluxe vs. the other boards available would be a solid board for what I'm wanting to accomplish?
