Its to assemble a new computer ( the only thing I have is a Lian Li case & PS ) and the first thing to start with is the motherboard. I will be going the AMD route and am leaning away from any boards that have the via chipset. I will be getting a good new video card ( but thats another forum ) like the new nvidia or radeons and new memory. Anyway here are my needs in order of importance :

1/ Stability
2/ Reliability
3/ Performance/speed
4/ Ease of use
5/ Price

I am not one for onboard sound but if it has onboard LAN that will be good. I guess I may end up going the serial ATA route for my hard drive ( maybe even go for onboard raid ) and it will have a DVD burner. Price is a factor but as you can see it rates about last in importance. Also any comments on good memmory ( want about a gig and was thinking Corsair) . I will be reading other posts in this group as well as the reviews dony by Anandtech but I like to hear first hand opinions of others.

Thanks
Will
