Motherboard for i5 2500k

Hello,

Recently was given a new in box i5 2500k CPU and am looking for a current motherboard that would work with this CPU. I'd like to build my wife a new PC using it which would be a step up from her current e8400 based system.

Not looking for high-end nor the low end. Preferable a decent name brand that's reliable. I have everything else to complete this except a mainboard.

I've had a system with that board paired with an I3-2100 for almost 3 years. It's a fairly basic board, but works great. I think I paid about twice that price back when I got mine. Asus even released a BIOS update for it a few months ago, so they're still supporting it.

I've been using an z68 asrock extreme 4 for 3 1/2 years now; not bad but perhaps not what you consider low end. Hum.

I have that ASUS P87 board running my 2500K @4.8 GHz for 3 years with S3 enabled. USB 3.0 is a little finicky but everything else has been solid.
