I'm planning of taking advantage of Fry's $79.99 deal for an I3 530.

Microcenter has a deal on the MSI P55-CD53 for $79.99 AR. Would this board be well suited for the I3? I did some searching on compatibility of the I3 with P55 MBs, and I was a little bit confused on how well they work together.

I'm in the process of building a new system primarily for gaming. When the new wave of ATi cards come out new month I'm going to pick up a card in the 130-200 range.

Also - would I be better suited to wait until I buy my graphics card before purchasing CPU/MB? I have an ancient x1950 pro I could throw in my system to make it work for a month.

Any insight well be much appreciated!

I hope frys still has that deal. Holiday weekends can change the usual expiration date of their weekly ads. The msi board should work fine. Fry's also had a similar deal for an msi h55 board. I use the onboard video with my h55 board, or you can use a separate card.
