I'm running a 1st Mainboard Ad11. It looks like there is a heatsink/fan over the northbridge. My computer has been restarting unexpedtedly and blank screen on certain bootups. I've isolated the problem to be this fan/heatsink.

Does it have a specfic name so I can buy a new one, or is it just a standard fan? Its pretty small, I'm guessing maybe 40mm...

Should be called a chipset/GPU cooler. Check the voltage out though as some I've seen use 5 volt from the motherboard and others use 12 volt.

Thanks guys. I ordered a replacement heatsink that's supposed to eliminate the need for a fan all together.

Thanks again...
