I have been using the BX Master for four months now and it didn't encountered any problems until today.

My problem is sometimes my onboard Promise controller CANNOT detect my HD (only one HD at this moment) and said "Ultra 66 BIOS NOT INSTALLED". This doesn't happen frequently and I still have the same problem when I got my second
replacement yesterday! Usually before this happen, my PC would froze, thus, I have to restart. Then, I get that error message! Then, I
switched my HD back to the UDMA/33 channel and it boots fine........

What can be wrong????? Oh btw, I already have the latest BIOS.....Pls. reply.........thank u....

Is it because of incompatiability of my hardwares??????

 
2nd replacement what? Motherboard or HDD? Sounds like a cable problem or IRQ problem...if you have the latest drivers and all is seated properly and cable is fine, seems to me that it would have to be IRQ related
