I'm always getting confused with motherboard drivers. How can you tell which one to get, and which one is the latest.

I also noticed that they have nf4 driver updates on nvidia.com:confused:, what are they for?

Apparently i'm confused, please let me in on the details. Thanks!!

Mobo drivers consists mainly of the following:
1. IDE/ATA/SATA drivers
2. Audio, Game and Video drivers (if built in)
3. Network Interface Card (NIC) driver (if built in)
4. USB drivers (if built in)
5. Modem drivers (if built in)
6. and the numberous system devices like PCI, AGP and etc . . .

The updated NF4 drivers usually updates the above drivers although most of the time it's only the IDE/ATA/SATA drivers that are updated.

Go to the dfi website and check out the latest drivers under their downloads section. They are usually the first ones on the list. Then go to your cd and check if you have the same ones.

I checked my Mainboard cd to see what drivers they were and i couldn't tell, no numbers or dates. Is there a way to check to see what drivers i have. I have a link from dfi's website showing the whole list of drivers.

Also I notice that theres nforce4 drivers under nvidia.com, does that have anything to with my board thats beneficial, or no?
