Motherboard defective? Need help~

P4 1.8 CPU
2x 256MB DDR400 RAM (infineon)


Memtest86 always give errors no matter what slot the memory is in. I tried other memory that works for sure (tested w/ memtest86 in other motherboard and no error) gives error too. i tired putting the 2x256 DDR400 in another motherboard but no errors. I tried switching cpu (puttin a 1.6A) and still the same thing. Does that mean this motherboard is defective? Is there a program out there that test the memory controller/memory slots?
