Motherboard dead..?

So, this motherboard i got from someone does not post nor beep and once i turn it on, the southbridge gets deadly hot enough to burn finger (Nforce MCP-D)

does this mean it is dead?


the fans connected to the mobo and the video cards hsf runs too.



Is there any way to test it to make sure before i shoot it with my airsoft gun?

sounds shorted internally 🙁

you could possibly RMA it or at least attempt it.
