Finally got my computer to post with revision version 1.0 on the winchester core yesterday (luck?). I boot into windows and i notice my mouse port is not working correctly. My mouse doesnt even light up. I tried putting in another mouse and they light up but dont move. I then tried to plug the mouse into the usb port below it then my keyboard broke. Seems like the mouse port is broke and some usb ports are broke too. Right now it is working on a different usb port. Does a bios version fix this? I tried updating my bios but whenever i typed C: it said invalid drive =/

boot into the bios - if you can [without a keyboard there are going to be problems!!!]

See what drives show up in the bios. If they show in the bios, then it is an OS issue. If not, then you definitely have a h/ware prob

Does that motherboard power the PS/2 and USB ports from the +5vSB line on the PSU rather than the +5v line? Many modern mobos that support "power on by keyboard/mouse" do that. If so, then you need to make sure that your PSU is powerful enough, including the +5vSB line. 2A is the bare minimum, and for newer systems with many built-in USB ports, something higher would definately be better, since each USB port can theoretically use 500mA all to itself, and the PS/2 devices will use some power too.
