Motherboard/CPU combos maybe 1gb memory

Here's the deal I have an old outdated Gigabyte 7DXE motherboard with a AMD XP 2200+ and 768mb DDR266, But I just bought a GeForce6 6600 GT AGP and it works fine with this setup but I'd like a little more umph. I plane to sell the board, chip, and memory to my local computer shop for like $125 and would like to upgrade to either a better AMD/board combo or a P4/combo.

The computer is mostly used for bills, research for college, and Gaming mainly only World of Warcraft.

Let me know what combos you guy recommend I'd like to stay in the $350 range if possible.

It's still on the front page here at Anandtech. WoW is the only application you've listed that will even remotely tax a modern system, so choose your hardware accordingly.

Well... maybe something like this?

A64 3000+ 939
Soltek motherboard
gig of kingmax

comes to $341 shipped (-$15 rebate = $326)

You could change it to corsair memory and still make it under $350

They're not that bad for WoW it appears though. I'm going to let it slide myself.
