motherboard compatibility with new xeon

i have a gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L motherboard and i was wondering if anyone knows whether it will be compatible with the new xeon (whichever one was basically the same as the Q9450). i've checked their website and it doesn't have it listed but just wondering in case they haven't updated or something. cause it seems like i can get one cheaper than the Q9450 and they're pretty much the same thing.

You will need a BIOS update to recognize any of the new 45nm CPUs. After that, it will identify the chip as a Q9450, and won't even know it's a Xeon.
