Motherboard buying advice

I'm currently building a new mid level gaming computer and don't have the cash to buy two expensive video cards right now. From what I've read about Crossfire (that you can use two different video cards), I prefer it over SLI.

My question is this: Should I buy an MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum (939) SLI motherboard with the intension for using it for ATI Crossfire or should I just buy the MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum (939)? I am not going to overclock and I am 90% sure of buying an MSI mobo.

If two expensive videocards is not something you want to spend your money on, I don't think crossfire is for you (or me)

No, you cannot buy two different video cards and expect them to work in crossfire. There is a special crossfire card for appropriate series of video cards.

reason not to get crossfire: you will have to wait a really, really, really, really, really, really... long time

reason to get crossfire: it will probably kick as$
