Motherboard Bios Upgrade?

Should I upgrade the bios? I upgraded from 1006 to 1007 and my Fx-53 wouldn't boot I had to get a 90nm A64 and reflash back. They now have 1009 and am wondering if you people thing the same problem would occur.

Why do people look for trouble? Does it say in the BIOS update that its fixing any problems you have?

If it aint broke, dont fix it.
