motherboard- bios lockup sometimes

Hi. I just built two identical systems using the GA-M61PME-S2 motherboard. Both systems went together fine, but one of them (has happened twice in the last day) when booting up, it freezes at the BIOS screen that says the memory installed. If I turn it off and back on, then it will continue its work. Am just curiouis does anybody know why this is? Its possible that the other one is donig it as well but I havnt used it yet. Would a BIOS update fix this do you think?
