Motherboard and win 10

hello,

My motherboard is Asus P8H77-m.

Will be good for win 10 ?

need to download new driver after the update of win 10.

Why should download new driver ?

I am on win 7.

Your motherboard should be OK for Windows 10.

The Windows 10 update should leave your drivers in place. It should also be compatible with drivers that are compatible with windows 7 or 8/8.1.

That's about as standard as Intel gear as you get, the H77 chipset. There are literally millions of computers running Windows 10 on that hardware. If you installed the random Asus add-on stuff, you might want to delete such after the upgrade and install newer versions. Otherwise, shouldn't be a problem.

I upgrade to W10 on a P8z77-v from w7. The system seemed okay except for One Drive and a large number of warnings in event log. Subsequently I did a fresh W10 install and used the w8.1 asus drivers for good measure. The asus forums suggest that they will eventually have support for w10 across most motherboard platform but it takes time..
